Professionally Written

When our oldest daughter was looking for another job, she applied for several vacancies. Of course, she had to send in her resume and she had a really hard time putting everything together to where it would come close to a professional resume.

It took her quite a while, before she finally got it to that point. She kept altering it and each time she did, she read it to us to see what we thought of it. Neither one of us is a professional resume writer, but we helped out as best as we could. Not an easy job and I have the greatest respect and admiration for those who practise this profession.

A resume is what gives the first impression about a candidate. You want that to be positive. It should also highlight your experiences and skills in a way, that captures the attention and makes you stand out from other applicants.

I wished we had known that we could have gotten executive resumes analysis and quotes from experienced writers. It would have helped our daughter out tremendously.

Next time, we will not go through all that trouble. We will let an expert handle it and we will add this to the list of lessons learned!
