Autumn de Forest Economical Impact

In the year 2009, Autumn's work was shown in public. In April, she was the youngest artist ever accepted to participate in the Boulder City Fine Arts Festival and was awarded an Honorable Mention.

In May of the same year, she was chosen and awarded "First Place - Best of Show" out of over 80 other, much older artists, during her second festival.

In June of 2009, Autumn overheard a phone conversation about having the opportunity to participate in the auction and decided that if her artwork could help other, less fortunate children with their artwork, then she had to participate.

She donated a full-sized superior reproduction of her large format oil painting “Sunrise” for a silent auction, which was conducted by the Las Vegas Philharmonic for The Las Vegas Phil and Opportunity Village; charities helping underprivileged kids with Art and Music resources. She not only got the highest, but also the most bids.

In July, the Malibu Arts Festival proclaimed her to be the "Featured Artist" on their annual celebration.

Autumn de Forest’s paintings are selling not just nationwide, but also worldwide to many collectors. She has already sold her artwork for a grand total of over $250,000, which will go towards her college education.
