It is very well possible you even purchased another board and would like to distinguish it from all the ones you saw on the beach previously. Don't panic; there is lots of art you can adorn your surfboard with.

However, the possibility to paint them as you please or see fit, is just as real for the wooden ones as it is for the polyester ones.

I liked the idea of using them as shelf holders, but I also happened to come across tables where a surfboard was used as the tabletop. Surfboards, cut in half lengthwise, can function as a stand alone shelf and provide unique and/or necessary storage.
