Baby-Shower Update
The baby-shower went real well last Saturday and our Mommy-to-be got overloaded with presents.
Instead of the 14 ladies we had expected, we had 11. Still a nice group. I had taken care of the food and of course we had way too much left. I don't know if that was a good sign, haha.
Our eldest had done a great job concerning the decorations and the games!
One of the games was not to say the word "Baby". If you did, you would have to give the safety pin ( given as soon as you came in) to the one who caught you on it. The one with the most pins at the end, would get a prize.
A young friend of mom-to-be, who lost the game last year, was almost obsessed to win this time. She sure must have had a bad year, haha. Unfortunately she may be looking at some more bad times, since she lost again.
April, the mom-to-be, enjoyed all of it. She got the cutest outfits for the baby! I hope baby Leo will be a bit smaller than his older brother, so they will fit him for a little while.
Not much longer now. 27 days and counting down! :-)
