Lipstick Art

With Halloween around the corner, I thought this was a cute, unique and different way to compliment your own as well as your children's costumes.

Depending on how much time you like to spend on this form of art, there are many examples ranging from simple and easy to intensive, time-consuming and intricate. I came across mouths transformed into a Batman emblem to small gems adhered to the lips on top of the applied lipstick.

That shows that there are no limits to your imagination and/or your artistic skills and pretty much anything goes. Actually, the crazier, funnier, and sillier the design is, the better.

You can add an extra shine to your project or highlight different sections of it by using a lip gloss. It is comparable to painting a wall with flat paint and accentuating parts of it with glaze, only on a much smaller scale.

If you think that using black lipstick for a witch's outfit is creepy then imagine what it would look like when turned into a spider. How about creating some webbing on Spiderman's mouth or turning Cinderella's lips into a sparkling glow?

Your efforts will not go unnoticed and the question how you accomplished that amazing work of art will be on everyone's lips!

Audrey,
I know. Halloween decorations were already in the stores last month. It seems like it was only yesterday when I put up our Christmas decorations. Time goes so fast, sigh.

((HUGS)))

God's Grace.
