Aluminum Foil Art
I already was aware of the fact that aluminum household foil was used for several craft projects. I had seen it on one of the TV shows; they used a wooden box, glued on different objects, covered in with glue and topped it off with aluminum foil.
The foil was smoothed on, in and around the box and its objects and afterwards, a black paint was dabbed on with a rag. The excess paint was then wiped off and the result was an antique looking 'silver' box. How clever and how crafty!
I discovered that simple aluminum household foil is used also to create some beautiful sculptures, like these roses for instance. I even found complete figurines made solely out of this material.
This shows clearly that you often don't have to look far to find crafting supplies.
A quick look in your kitchen cabinets may be enough to wrap it up!
