Pavement Art

Pavement art, also referred to as sidewalk or concrete/asphalt art, is one of the most artistic, optical illusions I can imagine. I have not yet had the pleasure to see it with my own eyes, but just looking at pictures of this art already leaves me speechless and in awe.

I find it already very difficult trying to get an image like this on canvas or paper, but being able to create something like this on a large portion of a sidewalk is truly amazing.

Can you imagine strolling along the sidewalk, turning a corner and having 'Jaws' leaping up at you out of nowhere? Pretty incredible, huh?!

One thing is for sure; when there are street artists around, a stroll becomes more like 'taking a walk on the wild side'!
