Yard Art

It has been proven that our house is difficult to find. We had several people call, trying to make their way to our abode, but couldn't distinguish which house it was. No wonder; our home has no address sign. At least none that is visible from the road.

We used to have numbers on the side of the wooden mount of our mailbox, but those never got back up after we had to replace it. Instead, we hung the address numbers over the entrance of our house which leaves it without any address plaques and numbers where they are needed.

Even though our house stands out by its colors, I still would like it to be recognized without people having to go through the trouble to call. My thoughts are going towards an address plaque in front of the yard. It could convey both name and number and would leave no doubt concerning our location.

It would also give more curb appeal; plaques come in all kinds of different designs and it sure would make some great yard art!
