Phone Book Art

You may want to hold on to those thick, heavy phone books which are distributed each year, because with the Internet slowly but surely becoming the main source of information concerning addresses and telephone numbers, the phone book may soon be a thing of the past.

Besides it being of historical interest several years from now, there are more reasons for holding on to your outdated phone books.

Take a look at this example of art for instance which can be created with it and you will understand my recommendation.

I found many more examples of creative expressions where phone books are concerned and all of them resulted in some unexpected, but stunning projects.

How would you like to have a conversation piece like this on display in your home or office?

It may take some time to create it, but it certainly has the 'wow' factor and will leave each beholder in awe.

So, the next time you are scouring through the phone book trying to find a number, or are about to dump it in the garbage or recycle bin, think about using it for art and when you are in need of materials for that; there are plenty of suppliers listed in your craft project!

Wow! Creative pieces out of the books. Yes, I do collect those thick, heavy phone books every year :) I'll miss them if they are replaced by CD permanently.

Audrey,
I usually throw them out, but I will certainly reconsider that this year!

God's Grace.
