Surfboard Art

You and/or some of your family members may have been catching some waves this summer and now that school has started, you are trying to find a place to store those huge boards for the next time.

It is very well possible you even purchased another board and would like to distinguish it from all the ones you saw on the beach previously. Don't panic; there is lots of art you can adorn your surfboard with.

Wooden surfboards are good objects for burning images on to or exercising some woodcarving.

However, the possibility to paint them as you please or see fit, is just as real for the wooden ones as it is for the polyester ones.

In case you have too many and just don't have any space left to put them up; there is an app for that.

I liked the idea of using them as shelf holders, but I also happened to come across tables where a surfboard was used as the tabletop. Surfboards, cut in half lengthwise, can function as a stand alone shelf and provide unique and/or necessary storage.

Get ready, because even when you are done surfing; Surf's up!
