Toothpick Art

I suppose you could say that toothpick and match stick art kind of fall under the same category. I tend to differ a little, because toothpicks are not a fire hazard when you buy them, while match sticks are intended to create a fire.

Both can be applied for almost the same projects and make for a rather cheap hobby. Okay, okay, the larger your project, the more toothpicks you will need. The fact remains however, you can buy a bundle, but it won't cost you a bundle.

Most of the toothpick art projects I came across were sculptures, but I was thinking how some cute wall art could be created with the colored ones, simply by gluing them randomly or in a pattern on some cardboard or plywood.

It doesn't really matter what you decide to create with them. One thing is for sure; you don't have to be picky about it!
