Guitar Pick Art

It is an easy jump from guitar string to guitar pick art and one that should have been expected.

These little trinkets not only prove their worth for plucking the stringed instrument, but are also invaluable when it comes to creating art.

I came across a wide variety of jewelry such as bracelets, necklaces, and earrings in almost any shape, fashion and form imaginable.

That is not all by any means; I have seen chandeliers, intricate and detailed pictures as well as very simple wall art, and key chains to name a few projects.

I can most certainly understand how a plectrum can be such an inspiration.

The enormous selection in colors tickles the imagination and challenges the mind to come up with a creative use for them. Some have even turned painting complex images on them into a fine art.

Since guitar picks are made out of celluloid, nylon, acrylic, bone, tortoiseshell, wood, and metal, it is rather easy drilling holes in them for making jewelry and lampshades.

That is more difficult when it comes to glass and stone picks, but those are excellent for any type of composition and I am not just talking about music, but wall art as well!
