Number Art
If you can think of it then you can pretty much take it to the bank that someone ingeniously has turned it into an art and is crafting along. Yes, you guessed it; there is art out there made from and with numbers.
This is a simple example of what you could create with numbers. It would be a fun, learning experience for the children too.
You will need some construction paper to cut out the numbers you intend to use.
This project is made by using only the numbers 1 to 7, but don't let that limit you.
For instance, I would have used the 8 for the earrings and the 9 for making the necklace. Just use your imagination.
Using wooden letters in different sizes and adhering them to a colorful background, would most certainly function well as a conversation starter.
The beauty of this creation is that you can use paint in colors which match and/or complement your interior.
I would recommend using some strong wood or craft glue for both craft projects. Applying the wrong glue could eventually do a number on your creation and you wouldn't want that to happen.
In case this type of art doesn't appeal to you; you can always stick to painting by number!
