Nylon Art

One of my daughters had a huge butterfly hanging in her room when she was young. It was made out of wire and nylon and had a few painted dots on it.

You may have seen the beautiful end products of this craft before, but were you aware that you can make this yourself? It is fun to do and not as difficult as it looks. It is actually pretty simple.

Most of the times this art comes in the form of flowers, but there are lots of other shapes and sculptures you can fabricate.

Once you get the craft downpath it is a matter of imagination. This craft is definitely worth a try. Start out with some wire and an old panty hose until you get the hang of it.

If it does not come out the first time the way you pictured it: try again and don't get your panties in a wad!
