Peacock Feather Art II

As far as the history about use of peacock feathers goes, you and I are on our own. There are no records which indicate how long ago people have already been using them for adorning themselves and/or for religious reasons.

It is known that feathers were used for all kinds of different things. We all know about down in pillows, duvets, etc., but the more colorful plumage may already have been used for ornaments, headbands and more.

I was quite surprised seeing these earrings; what a simple, but beautiful project. It also gave me the idea of embelleshing a belt with some smaller peacock feathers.

Since the feathers differ in colors, not one of the same art projects will look alike. Try it; it will be a feather in your cap!
