Dare To Make Mistakes
Once we have found a hobby, we usually tend to stick to it. Trying our hand at a different craft may appeal to us, but we are rather apprehensive, because it means we have to start from scratch and it may well occur that our first several projects land in the trashcan.
That shouldn't be a justification for not taking it on; we are likely to make mistakes and that is fine. The fear of making mistakes often tends to result in mistakes, because we are only and solely intent on NOT failing, instead of seeing it as an opportunity to acquire experience and open ourselves up to advice and new ideas.
Even the hobby you have now demanded learning and practice and you apparently were more then willing to take that risk. So go ahead, try a different craft and make mistakes; it allows for the opportunity to learn, grow and better ourselves at the art, or anything else in life for that matter!
