My Projects - Customized And Personalized Frames

I was going to share some of my crafts with you and here is one that is pretty simple, but serves the purpose; a water color painting.

I got this frame from our oldest daughter. It initially had a poem in the upper part and a picture in the lower one; a standard common theme you can find in many stores.

I loved the frame, but did not really know what to do with it because of the odd shape of the layout. It sat in the closet for what seems forever, until I needed something to spruce up our bathroom.

Some water color paint, brushes and paper were easily found, as well as the theme and the whole thing was done in no time.

The glass protects the painting from moisture and condensation, so no worries about the picture literally washing out. Grin.

The neat thing about this project is that you can customize both the colors and theme to fit in with any decor, plus it gets rid of some frames which we probably all have laying around somewhere. :-)
