"S"
...stands for Seafood!!!!
Shrimp, crab-claws, fried oysters, almost any type of fish and shell-fish. It doesn't matter how it is prepared. I even eat it raw. It really must taste awful for me not to like it.
In the Netherlands "Maatjes-haring" is a delicatessen and part of the folklore. It is raw pickled Herring and it's preferably eaten with chopped raw onions. Yummy!!!
It is a reoccurring yearly tradition to present the Queen with the first Maatjes-haring of the new season.
Another favorite in the Netherlands is smoked Eal. Unfortunately that has become pretty expensive over the years.
Yeah, I could probably eat seafood every day. Although I won't forgo a juicy steak either, hehe.
