Hands

This drawing represents so much. Friendship, relief, encouragement, peace and most of all, the knowledge of not being alone. Even though you may be/feel physically alone, spiritually the best friend you ever had is always waiting for you! :-)
Matthew 11:28
28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

You can own a print by going here. It's 9" x 6.5" , no shipping costs! :-)

Couple

A lot of people are under the misconception that for a portrait, you have to wear your best clothes, sit still in a certain pose in front of a neutral background. Nothing is less true!!

The best portrait-drawings are those drawn from real life happenings, where the ambiance of the moment reflects through as well. Not only does it make for a special and unique keep-sake off your loved one(s), but it also brings back those happy feelings and memories of that moment and occasion!

You can choose the seize you would like your drawing to be, a 8" x 10", or 11" x 14". To do so, click here.

Cute

Kids are such a great subject and it occurred to me, since we have a little grand baby ourselves (no, this ain't him!), how nice it would be to have several drawings of him, drawn some years apart. To see his features change as he grows up.
Sure, we all take pictures! I don't know about you but most of the time they go in a photo-book, or a box, and are hardly looked at anymore. A drawing however always finds a place on a wall, where people see them and proud family gets to talk about their loved ones. :-)
My excuses for the poor quality of this pic. The original is much more detailed but not all the gray-scales came across when copying.

Would you like to have a very unique, original and personal drawing? Please visit here and I would be more then happy to draw you an everlasting keepsake. :-)

Mirrors Of The Soul

It's amazing to see, while drawing, how many different traits and shapes are in a face. It's said that the eyes are the mirror of the soul and it's true. If I don't capture that look, the whole drawing, no matter how good the rest resembles the photograph, is just a waste of time. The eyes are the most difficult part of the drawing, but they bring it all to life.

You can see more portraits in my slide-show in the side-bar and of course here as well. :-)

Lillies

Inspired by:

Matthew 6:28-30

28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

NKJV.
