Egg Art Deserves Attention
The other day, I told you I was going to look for more different forms of art. Here is one, that blew my mind, egg art!
I was aware of the existence of egg art, but most of them involve porcelain, wood, or other materials. L.D Bolton Arts however, uses real shells, mainly geese eggs and sometimes also chicken, ostrich, or other eggs.
Looking at all those precise and detailed carved and crafted eggs, I can only imagine how much love and time must have been involved in each of those delightful creations.
This is my favorite. It represents the beauty, fulfillment and satisfaction that comes, after taking on the challenge to accomplish what seems almost impossible.
You may think, because of Salmonella, bird flu and whatever else, working with eggs might be unhealthy. All these egg shells are treated and sanitized, so there is no hazard of any infection at all. That is good to know.
Custom pieces can be made upon request. It surely is not your every day gift and a very special and unique form of art, that deserves to be brought under the attention. Much more attention!
