Macaroni Art - Materials and Equipment
I called my posts on this hobby 'macaroni' art, but I would probably have done better calling them 'pasta' art, because it is not solely macaroni that is used; other shapes of pasta are as well.
If you intend using colored pasta, you will need pasta, food coloring, rubbing alcohol, plastic cups or tubs, paper towel and a strainer (you can learn how to color the pasta in my previous 'Macaroni Art II" post).
Since this is a little messy and requires some time, I can imagine you don't want to go through all that trouble and rather buy it. That is possible: colored macaroni is offered on several sites and can be purchased over the Internet and in craft stores.
Keep craft glue, or a glue gun and glue sticks, handy; these are most likely the materials and equipment you will use most. If you plan on painting the pasta afterwards, keep paint brushes and paint around.
I didn't find any books, workshops, or pasta art lessons, but I don't think you will need any of it; with pasty, it is not difficult at all dishing out a lovely craft project!
