Nail Art - Materials and Equipment

If you like to try your creativity on your own, or someone else's nails, you may need:
different shades of nail polish, very thin brushes, clear nail polish for the top coat, a bobby pin and/or toothpick (these lend themselves excellent for applying dots and swirling colors), and stripers.

It may be easier to purchase a complete nail art kit; these can be found online, just like any other nail art supply you might need. Lots of instruction videos for both beginning and advanced nail artists will get you going and there are also magazines available which will keep you updated on trends and new developments concerning nail art.

Depending on your design, you may also need glitter, or 3D stickers. This is not all; there are also regular stickers, which can be applied directly on to the nails, and even nail stamps galore.

A little apprehensive about doing it yourself, or just don't have the time? No problem; you can always resort to the ready made, glue on nails, or go to a nail parlor and have it done. The last ones are experts and nailed it down to a fine art!
