Kirigami - Materials and Equipment

The same materials used for Origami are needed for Kirigami: you can use either origami or any other paper which is easy to cut, a pair of scissors and/or exacto knives, a cutting board, and in some cases craft glue.

I found some really good instruction books with great examples on all kinds of different Kirigami subjects, but if you rather get started right away then do an Internet search; it is likely to churn out some online instructions as well.

I do know for sure that Kirigami patterns and templates are available on the Internet highway and it may well be that you can also find some Kirigami workshops in your area.

Should you decide to take up this hobby, then you certainly can add one more wish onto your Christmas list: paper!
