This cake was posted on one of the social media sites and way too cute to pass up. It is an excellent example of several hobbies combined in one and would fit well in either the cake, fondant, sugar, or even the optical illusion and 3D art category.

I wished I had come across it before our latest granddaughter was born, 10 days ago. I would have considered trying my hand at creating a cake like this. I would of course have applied the color pink instead of blue and I would have opted for writing the baby's name on the cake.

It sure is something to keep in mind for when a baby is on its way in your family or circle of friends. Even though it looks complicated, it is not that hard to do at all. There is no doubt in my mind a cake like this would be a smashing success and get a lot of attention.
