Optical Illusion Art VII


Did you know that your mind is trained to read for meaning? Just try the following: read the sentence at right and count the letter f's.

How many times did you count it? The answer is six. In case you got it wrong, then rest assured; the statement above is what caused you to get it wrong. The mind has a hard time when asked to read for specific letters, especially when those letters are in prepositions like "of".


Here is another mind twister:
When you look at the blue lines, are they straight or bent?

They are perfectly straight, but the context fools the mind, making it believe the blue lines are bent. Use a ruler if you are not convinced!

This proves once more that it is better to ask then to assume; it would illiminate many false beliefs and optical illusions!
