Coffee Filter Art - Equipment and Materials

You can purchase coffee filters in several different sizes as well as different shapes. They even come in a tan or white color and it might be interesting trying to find out how both colors could be incorporate in several hobby and craft projects.

I have seen dresses, butterflies, flowers, Christmas angels and so much more being crafted from coffee filters. I haven't found any specific books on this subject, but I did find many instructional videos on using this material for making flowers and other projects on the YouTube site. If you are interested I recommend you check it out.

The use of coffee filters creating wall art as shown in this picture caught my eye; this is something so unique and cheap, but could have a huge impact on the entire design and atmosphere of a room.

Since the filters can be dyed in any color, it should not be hard to incorporate this type of wall art in any style. Even the different shades of tan and brown of the used coffee filters could give a space that so needed, extra touch.

I would suspect, besides coffee filters, one would need markers, water color paint, brushes, craft glue or a glue gun and maybe even a needle and thread. Yeah, as usual, the other equipment and materials needed would be totally dependant on the project.

If you are not sure yet what all you might need, take a little time to think about it before getting started. Yeah, I will share a cup of coffee with you! :-)
