Coffee Filter Art II
By using markers and water or water color paint, you can easily give the coffee filter any color you desire or need for your project.
Different shapes can be acquired by folding them and the folding techniques which are also used for tea wrappers can be applied here as well.
Gluing several altered coffee filters on a sheet of paper creates wonderful and unique wall art. I personally would even consider adhering them on a piece of fabric and framing the entire project.
The projects with these filters are endless as you can see; it goes from wall art to ceiling art. I think this is a great way of sprucing up a large room, although I probably would have turned them into lamps by hanging a light bulb inside of them.
Of course you would have to be careful and leave enough space between the bulb and the filters in order to prevent a fire. There is no doubt though these sculptures would make excellent lamps and fill the space with great ambiance due to the diffused light. Or, as the case would be; filtered light!
