Discovery Channel Is My Favorite Educational Television Channel

Everyone is glued to the television in my house constantly, except for me. I rarely watch television unless it is one of the many educational channels that are available. My favorite channel to watch on the satellite, aside from the Directtv movie packages is The Discovery Channel.
The Discovery Channel has a wide range of programs on their station. These shows are all very entertaining and educational. I like several of their shows. These shows include American Chopper, Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe, and Man vs. Wild.
American Chopper airs pretty much all afternoon during the week. It is a show that features the Orange County Choppers company. It is very entertaining to watch these guys build their custom choppers and bicker with each other.
My all time favorite Discovery Channel show is Dirty Jobs. It is hosted by Mike Rowe. This show airs at four o'clock in the afternoon and is always entertaining. Mike does various jobs that are truly disgusting. It's very interesting to see different jobs that are done that many people don't even realize how disgusting they truly are.
I also really enjoy the show Man vs. Wild. The host of this program shows viewers different ways to survive in the wild without any of the comforts of home that we are used to. It airs on Wednesday evenings and is definitely a must see.
