Never Too Young

One is never too young to either start a hobby or develop the artistic abilities, which we all have. The other day, I was watching our oldest grandson while he was drawing and I was quite impressed.

Usually, children start out with stickmen, but our little guy drew a circle (even though it was not very round yet) for a head, gave it dots for eyes and a line for a mouth. Even the body was some sort of a circle and the only sticks he drew were the arms.

He doesn't have the positions right yet; the ears are not always attached to the head and fingers may look like knobs, but it is all there. I would say that is pretty good for a 4 year old. I sure hope to encourage him with this newly discovered talent. :-)
