Christmas Light Art - Glass Brick

One of the beautiful Christmas decorations I had received several years ago was this glass brick.

It is not only a gorgeous piece to look at and even though it comes across like a present, it is functional as well.

One of our daughters had patiently pushed a string of clear Christmas lights through the hole in the side of the glass and when plugged in, it was a wonderful, bright, unique piece.

According to her, it was rather tedious and painstaking work getting the lights in and seeing what it looks like from the back and how tight the lights are squeezed in, I can understand why.

I would have loved to show you a picture with the lights on, but last year they failed. Yeah, that is the disadvantage of stuffing lights in there; you can not get them out and replace them!
