Fruit

I would like to bring this drawing back to your attention. It expresses the abundance of delicacies we have and to even be in the position to purchase those, whenever we like, while there are so many who aren't able to. A true blessing, huh?!
It also reminds me of the fruit of the Spirit:

Galatians 5:22-24
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

Wouldn't the world be a better place if we could all practise that?! :-)

Could you draw a picture of a boy behind bars, with Jesus unlocking the door? I always wanted a picture like that for the Juvenile Correctional Facility we minister in. Just curious.

Dana,
Oh yes! No problem.
Sounds like you have it worked out in your head. Just give me the details of how and what and I will work it out on paper. :-)

There are two designs I would like...one is of a brick background, behind the boy, then bars in front of him with his hands on the bars looking out, then have Jesus there maybe with his hand on the boys hand and the other hand unlocking the door. Does that make sense? The scripture that goes with this picture is John 8:36, He Who the Son has set free, is free indeed.

The other drawing would be of Christ actually behind bars locked up. I want to put the scripture on it Matt. 25: 34-40 where Jesus says, I was in prison and you came to visit me...

I hope this makes sense, if not you can email me at chuckndanarenz@aol.com

Dana,
I had an idea myself on the verse of John 8:36. The boy stepping "through" the bars while holding onto Jesus' hand. What do you think about that?

I e-mailed you with the specifics. Thanks for letting me do the drawing. :-)

Anji,
Welcome and thank you so much for that sweet comment. :-)
Credit to God who gave me that ability!
Have a blessed weekend.

God's Grace.

I love your drawings. Can you give me an idea of how long each took?

sir lizard,
Thank you.
It totally depends. The fruit took me prolly about one full 8-hour workday. Portraits take about 3 times as long (for one face), since I am a detailist. The sky-image on the other hand, I did in less then a day. Magnolias about 2 days. The more detailed it is, the longer it takes.
When commissioned one portrait, I usually reserve a full week, so I can make sure the finished product resembles exactly.
