Ole!!!

I have never been to Spain, but one of our daughters stayed there for her study for about 6 months. She was located near Madrid and went sight-seeing on several occasions. The pictures she sent were absolutely gorgeous! They would prod you to instantly book a vacation, which is possible because there are many last-minute bookings available.

Of course you don't have to stay in hotels in Madrid to see the Prado museum, botanical garden or the royal palace. There are lots of hotels in Spain nearby, that provide easy access to go any direction you like.

I actually never thought of Spain as having many tourist attractions. I associated it with Fiestas, Bull-fights and Flamingo-dancing, but I was so wrong! It has so much more to offer, consider Torre de Bujaco or Muralla de Avila, for instance.

I am sure the soccer-fans amongst you, have heard of Barcelona. There is a wide variety of cheap hotels in Barcelona and La Boqueria and Gothic quarter are well worth visiting. Who knows, you may even be able and allowed to attend one of the soccer-practices and get an authograph or two! The Sagrada Family is happy to welcome you!
