3D Art II

This 3D art does not restrict itself solely to the making of paper cards. Take a look at these butterflies; adhered to a wall they would really stand out and with a string attached they would make a gorgeous mobile.

You could easily glue them on a piece of drift wood or twig you found or embellish other objects with them. You can do this with all kinds of other images of course, not just butterflies. A 3D picture frame with some of this kind of art spruces up any interior.

Cars, buildings, and so much more can be constructed with something as simple as paper. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to fold some cute shapes and glue them together.

3D art can be done with a lot more materials then just paper; wood carving, beading and tea wrapper art are just a few more crafts which lend themselves very well for it.

I think you might enjoy this artsy craft and you will soon find out that 3D is more then just an optical illusion!
