Pick Your Battle
Every time I open the closet where all my craft items are stored, I see all the old apparel hanging there which I saved with the thought in mind they would come in handy some day for new fabricating new creations.
They have been in there for years and so far I haven't done anything with them. Still, I don't want to get rid of them, because they could be used for all kinds of sewing projects like stuffed animals, throw pillows, children's clothes or even plus size prom dresses if need be.
Yes, there are plenty of beautiful fabrics in there to create even the latter, although by the time I would be through with one of those it would have been quicker, easier and probably cheaper too, having bought one of the plus size prom dresses which can be found online.
It always gives great satisfaction once a project has come to a successful completion, but teenagers have a mind of their own and it may save a lot of frustration and aggravation buying plus size prom dresses, instead of making them and having to alter them a gazillion times.
