Shoe Lace Art - Materials and Equipment

Shoelaces; they come in a wide array of colors, length and width and that makes them extremely suitable for many craft and hobby projects.

They can be bought in lots of stores and in case you still aren't able to find what you are searching for then take a look online, because there are several sites which offer a shoelace exchange option.

It would be advantageous to have a pair of scissors and some craft glue or a glue gun handy, since many craft projects made with shoelaces will probably call for that.

You will find several videos, hints and tips online for all kinds of art with these materials and even the little ones are not forgotten; there are plenty of fun ideas to keep them busy during a rainy afternoon.

Sometimes, nothing else is needed but your hands, like this braided bracelet.

You can even make it longer and turn it into a necklace, or use the braided shoelaces for embellishment with other projects.

For crafting a shoelace painting any sturdy background will do. Just make sure to have enough glue in stock to seal the deal!
