Home Made Christmas Decorations Part 2
I personally love these smaller decorations. They were not only fun to create, but since they are small and don't take up much space, they can be put anywhere.
The concept is rather simple; you need an old CD and it doesn't matter whether it is scratched or not. Cover the back of the CD with craft glue and glue on a piece of felt. Once that is dry, you can trim to fit by cutting off the excess felt along the side of the CD with a pair of scissors.
Cover the hole in the CD with a round piece of construction paper. This works best, because it will not soak up the glue and crease. Artificial evergreen is used to form small trees and those are glued on with a glue gun.
You can give them a snowy appearance by dripping glue over the tree and sprinkling white glitter on it and carefully shaking off the excess glitter.
Once that is done, the cutest part begins. You will need small figurines, which are easily found in craft stores and can vary from snowmen, Santa Claus, gifts, cars, lanterns, and anything else Christmas or season related.
Determine where to put the figurines and glue them on the CD with a glue gun. You can decorate anyway you like and even make the scenery larger by gluing several CDs together; let one part of a CD overlap the other. Do this before you glue on the felt on the back.
It is an easy, simple, cheap project and fun for the entire family!

Audrey,
You are most welcome.
I love these little CD scenes; they are so nostalgic and peaceful. I may make some more.
God's Grace.
