Christmas Sparkle

Another sparkly ornament to highlight the Christmas season. The star, snowflake and Christmas ball are actually wooden figures which were supposed to be painted. I tried that, but that didn't work out too well, so I covered both sides in gold tissue paper. I spruced them up a little with large and small stars.

The rings are left over shower curtain rings which are wrapped in gold, fluffy string and a red ribbon is glued on the top. The ornaments and rings are tied together with a small thread.

Because both sides of this ornament are exactly alike, it can either be hung on the wall, from the ceiling or in a doorway where it can twirl around. It is an attention grabber for sure.

As far as I am concerned; Christmas is not sneaking up on me. I am ready!
