DIY gift wrap

Guest post written by Karen Dallas

I love the idea of making crafts or food and giving it to people as gifts, but I never really get around to doing that. Besides, not everyone likes getting homemade stuff as gifts, especially kids. But one thing that I do put some more work into when it comes to gift giving is the way that wrap and put it all together on the outside, because people get excited to open a gift when they can admire the way that the gift wrapping is put together. Or at least I know that I'm that way.

I like to browse ideas for new ways to do some wrapping online on blogs, which is some really great inspiration. When I was looking at some stuff like that the other day, I saw a special about internet offers and decided to check it out.

I love making homemade wrapping paper and if I have a spare Saturday or afternoon with a holiday coming up ahead, I'll make some so I'll have some on hand when I need it. But even if I don't have time to do that I like to at least make homemade personalized gift tags.
