Gazing Ball Art

I had never seen gazing balls before, simply because they are/were not used as decorations in Dutch gardens.

Even though I love the gazing balls, I can understand why; most of the gazing balls have a reflecting surface which could be blinding the drivers who are passing by.

That doesn't necessarily mean you shouldn't decorate your yard with them. You can buy all kinds of gazing balls made from different materials which do not pose that risk.

But hey, this is an art, craft, and hobby blog, and instead of buying them, you can easily make them yourself.

You will need a round form as a basis to which you can adhere anything you like, or have handy. Give it a try; you will be gazing at the outcome for a long time!
