Gazing Ball Art - Materials and Equipment

The common size for a gazing ball is either 11 or 12 inches, but they can be smaller or even larger if you like. You will need a round form and the Styrofoam balls which can be bought in any craft store will do great. From there on, it is all up to your imagination and creativity.

If you intend using shards for a mosaic, you will need a good adhesive and grout. For marbles, or other materials a good craft glue will do.

Many more items can be used for making a gazing ball, like beads, buttons, acorns, even thumbnails if you like.

No matter what you use creating this garden decoration, the end result will be unique, amazing and stunning either way and capture anyone's attention!
