Trait Or Trade

I find it truly amazing when someone makes a large amount of money by investing just a small sum. It is probably a matter of years of following the financial news, knowing when and what to invest where.

I do believe though that it also takes a creative and artistic mind being able to distinguish which investment would be lucrative and yielding a good profit, and which one would turn out being a loosing battle.

Some people don't like taking the risk that comes with stock trading and resort to making money with money. They rather invest in australian currency when the prospect of making a nice profit looks promising.

I suppose the expression 'practice makes perfect' applies here as well, although I am not sure whether to call it a trait, or a trade.
