Steve Blanchard's Economical Impact

When Steve Blanchard started creating Itsyville, little did he know that it would grow out to become a major tourist attraction and would be featured twice in the French architectural magazine "Le Journal du Bois".

It has even attracted the attention of country singer Dolly Parton, who is interested in expanding Dollywood theme park by adding Itsyville to it.

Blanchard's artistic works will also find a spot in the book "Ice, Snow, Sand and Wood Sculptures" by author Steve Volk and "The Art of Chainsaw Carving" which will be published by Fox Chapel Publishing.

As for Steve's plans for the future: expanding Itsyville is high on the agenda, but he is also in the verge of releasing a series of children's books which include some great, simple to understand wisdom and priceless life-lessons.

An animated show focused on, around and about his miniature village and its inhabitants is also in the planning and although all that, in combination with starring as the main attraction at events and all kinds of competitions will fill his agenda, it will not keep Steve away from his one and only passion: chainsaw carving!
