Craft Items Up For Grabs
I can not begin to tell you how happy I am now that the weather is getting cooler. We have been looking forward to fall and winter for a long time now and are making plans to head out. Camping and metal detecting are high on our agenda and we are inspecting our gear and getting ready.
We don't mind being out in the cold so to speak. On the contrary; it has more advantages then the warmer weather. We don't have to worry about bugs and snakes and it is easier to dress for the cold than to try and withstand the heat.
Being out in nature does require some preparations. I for one still need to find some good, comfortable boots for women which not only keep my feet warm, but also can stand treading rough terrain and covering some ground.
Sturdy and supporting boots or shoes are essential when roaming the woods. That is one of my favorite things to do. It is incredible how many items are literally up for grabs which have the potential for being turned into art and craft projects.
That reminds me; I better not forget to pack some bags or tubs for keeping all my treasures in until we get back home!
