Some More Halloween Craft Projects
It is not a good Halloween when you don't have a few ghosts floating around. They play a huge role where this holiday is concerned and it doesn't take much to fabricate them.
The one in the picture is made out of tissues. I personally wouldn't resort to that material since it can't stand up to moisture and would be blown apart pretty easily in case the wind picks up. They are cute for inside though.
The best and simplest way to create your own ghost is by using an old, white sheet or a white, plastic trash bag.
You can cut the material in a square or a rectangle. For the head, place a ball or crumpled up newspaper in the middle of the material. Pull the material together over it and wrap a string tightly around it right underneath the head.
Attach a piece of string on the top of its head. This will come in handy when wanting to hang your ghost. Draw a scary face on your project with a black, permanent marker and your creation is ready to be the fright of the neighborhood.
Create creepy crawlers with a ball of black yarn and pipe cleaners. Some felt to make and/or highlight the features would come in handy.
Bend the pipe cleaners in the shape of a spider's leg and stick them in or glue them onto the ball of yarn.
I would recommend sticking them in. That way you can still use the yarn afterwards for other craft projects.
You can use some double-sided sticky tape to attach the eyes and mouth. This makes for an easy removal afterwards without damaging the yarn.
These are quick and easy projects and you still have plenty of time to make them before Halloween comes around. Have fun!

Halloween items are so popular now, Lieve Zus :)
Audrey,
Yes and they are usually rather costly too. It is so simple and easy to make some of your own. And a lot more fun as well. :-)
God's Grace.
