Sand Art Bottles and Cards

I have worked with colored sand myself and made some pretty cards with it. Of course, you can buy decorative bottles and fill them up with the colors that tickle your fancy or match your interior. They make nice gifts as well.

For making the cards, I would craft paper, that sticks on both sides, draw an image on it, peel off one side of the protective paper and stick it on the card. Next, I would gently cut along the drawing lines, remove each piece of paper that would get the same color sand and sprinkle the sand on the sticker. I would repeat this until the image was complete.

If you are not that crafty, don't worry. Supplies and pre-cut stickers for creating cards can be found and bought online for very reasonable prices.
