Defeating The Purpose

A while back we had to do some toilet repair; it was constantly leaking when not being flushed and if I recall well, we got a Dual Flush Conversion kit. The reason for having a dual flush toilet is obvious; it saves water, money and we are participating in going green.

Something got messed up though and the dual flush is not working the way it is supposed to. Instead of having one of the Low- Flow toilets we have to keep the handle down to flush which does not Save Water at all. On the contrary: it uses more water then it should.

It must not be properly installed and we need to take it out and try putting it back in correctly this time. There is no purpose in having one of the Dual Flush Toilets when the supposed savings and good intentions towards the environment are being flushed out as well.

That totally defeats the purpose of such a good invention!
