Home Made Christmas Decorations Part 3
We all live by example and although it may not be clear at the moment; it will show through later on.
An excellent example is this little nativity scene which our youngest daughter made as a Christmas gift for me, several years ago.
She bought the figurines and a small, square wooden box. She covered the box by gluing red tissue paper all around it, but I can imagine any wrapping paper would do as well.
She used a glue gun to attach the figurines to the box, covered the left over spaces with craft glue and sprinkled on raffia which was cut down to very small pieces.
If you don't have raffia, you can also use real grass. You will have a meadow at first, but eventually, it will dry, change color and take on the look and feel of straw.
She did a great job and every year I admire her handiwork when the Christmas decorations are brought in and taken out!

Wow! There is so much talent in your home, Lieve Zus :)
Audrey,
Yes, there is and I wished they would put it to good use more often. Well, why should they when I usually take care of it for them? Grin.
God's Grace.
