Creativity With Cardboard Boxes

When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade and that can turn out to be so tasty that other people are more than happy to buy it or follow the example. In other words; creativity not only comes in handy, but can also be very lucrative.

When life gives you a two-bedroom apartment, you become creative and add another room by using cardboard boxes as a partition. That's what our daughter is doing presently, to provide one of her children with some private space to himself.

I was a little skeptical when she first told me about her intentions, but my imagination kicked in shortly after that. Utilizing the boxes with the opening on the inside of the room would give an enormous amount of storage.

That prodded more ingenuity on her part and she even incorporated a small window which she wants to enhance and decorate with curtains.

The partition was almost finished when I saw it yesterday and it looked exceptionally cool and cozy. I also found out that there are special clips for sale to hold the boxes together, but a piece of duct tape will do the trick just as well and is a lot cheaper.

I can already picture our grandson's toys and apparel being stored in the wall. It also gives a whole new meaning to the expression 'being boxed in'! Grin.
