Cheerio Arts And Crafts

I already have done several posts on cereal art and crafts before, but I didn't come across these projects at that time and I thought they were rather neat, very simple, and easy to create.

The projects you see here are actually meant as bird feeders. The cheerios are strung on a pipe cleaner and can be hung any where outside.

You can use wire or string as well, although the latter will not keep a shape. It would be great for making bracelets and necklaces. I have seen several of those as well.

Due to the many colors cheerios are available in nowadays, you can constantly keep up with fashion. When you are fed up with it, you just consume your 'jewelry' at snack time and fabricate some new.

I also liked these small creations. It doesn't take much to make them; some pipe cleaners, a few buttons, and several of those tasty loops.

What I like most about these arty ideas is that they hardly cost anything. Pipe cleaners are fairly cheap and a box of this cereal goes a long way.

The kids will enjoy crafting with their food and who knows; maybe some cheerios might even find their way into the mouths of the picky eaters!
